This table below shows details of the planned route for the walk day by day.  Heavy emphasis on planned 🙂

Weather, fatigue, injury, getting lost, and a decision to rest a while somewhere because it feels right, could shoot the plan to pieces.  Still, this is the schedule we are aiming at.

East out of Ribchester and over Ribchester Bridge.  South on B6245 to junction A59.  Quick right then left onto minor road (Showley Road).  Follow across A6119, through outskirts of Blackburn via Revidge, crossing A677, passed Billinge Hill, south via Pleasington to junction A674.  Follow West to junction with M63.  A674 south then left onto minor roads via Withnell to Brinscall.  To Wheelton, then A674 over M61.  Straight through Chorely and exit on B5251.  At junction with B5252 (roundabout) wiggle right then left and follow to junction with A49.  Cross M6 then follow minor roads south to Dangerous Corner.
