Final big practice walk.  Tony joined me again for a stroll to a friends house in Shurlock Row, then up through Castle Royle golf course, returning via Hurst.  We tried to do as much as we could on footpaths.  A few bits of road inevitable but I think we managed well over 80% on paths and bridleways.

Weather was pretty miserable with constant drizzle and frequent showers but we managed everything ok and were still talking to each other at the end 🙂

Just over 20 miles.  Started at 09:00 and were home by 16:30, including an impressive stop for tea and biscuits at Phil and Caroline’s.

Only a week to go now and still so much to do.  Agghhhhhhh !!!
